Control Board Operator (OK)
Position Summary
Provide full-time Control Board Operator functions within the Iron Horse Processing Plant (located near Amber, OK).
Qualifications & Knowledge
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years of natural gas processing plant operations experience
- Knowledge of industry codes/standards, permitting and safety requirements (PSM, CFR 192, OSHA, etc.)
- Possess technical skills providing the ability to start-up and troubleshoot facilities processes
- Under limited supervision, performs tasks in support of operations activities
- Knowledge of control systems including SCADA and PLC programs
- Must possess leadership skills and can train others in the proper operation of all related equipment
- Able to speak fluent English and have excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and is subject to random drug testing
- Must allow a pre-employment background check
Responsibilities
- Maintain appropriate operating conditions for the overall safe and efficient daily operations
- Start up, shut down and monitor facility equipment
- Produce and complete operational records and reports as requested
- Assist in planning and monitoring plant maintenance activities
- Troubleshooting problems with all company assets and equipment
- Assist in the development, tracking, and delivery of facility operational efficiency targets
- Ensure compliance with all relevant/required regulations/programs both internally and externally
- Day-to-day liaison with internal and external customers
- Maintain facility cleanliness and general appearance to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Recommend and specify proper equipment and procedural needs to meet company goals
- Assist other disciplines as needed to achieve company goals
- Utilize all required “tools” and equipment necessary to support the functions of the job
- Oversee and advise others in their performance of daily duties
- Lift and carry items weighing 50 lbs. or more
- May be requested to work long hours to complete job assignments.
- May work a rotating schedule, shift, and be on call.
